Hi guys!

So I've had this faaaaabulous Thundercats fabric, that I picked up at a market, sat in my stash for years and years and never known what to do with it.  I had recently pondered making maybe an apron or a big bag with it.

But then a few weeks ago we had our monthly "Carvery Club" outing for Sunday munchies and I couldn't decide what to wear so I decided to knock up a skirt with the beautious fabric Cheesy

Now I'm not that daring when it comes to sewing my own clothing so pretty much every skirt I've made before now has been a circle skirt, but I didn't have that much fabric and if it were circle then the pattern would have been the wrong way up for most of the skirt, soooo I decided to step it up and made a 6 gored skirt, eeeeek!  Didn't bother with a pattern, just used a calculator, a pen, and a couple of rulers Wink

I even popped in a nice big pocket on either side because I hate having clothing without pockets, plus I've always wanted to try making a skirt or dress with pockets!!

Mr Loops reckoned it would be better if I'd matched up the pattern, but the pattern was very repetitive plus of course I didn't have enough to be able to do that, so 'fraid not!!

Thundercats are go!!!!  This is fantastic!  No pattern, and with pockets - you rock!
