I finished mine. I just need to wash it to remove the embroidery pen I used to trace the pattern to the fabric, and then put it back in it's hoop.

I have a sick obsession with bats and my favorite saying just happens to be bat-shit-crazy. I work in a pharmacy, so I get to use this saying on a daily basis and my co-workers crack up every time. So this is what I came up with. It was a quick stitchup and the first piece I have finished in a long time (I have about 7 half finished projects going on right now).

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

My finished hoop.

I actually made two. This one is a gnome riding a unicorn while holding a flamingo scepter leaving a rainbow trail with stars.

I also made a bookworm, but I will have to post pics after I take them. Cheesy

Hi everyone, I'm new to craftster so I hope I'm posting this right.  I have to say I love the hoops so far!  I picked up a punch needle kit last weekend and now I want to pick up embroidery.  I think this thread will be perfect for a learner.  I'll have to join in next months theme, I'm excited to join in the fun  Grin

ok--my crazy love of Dr. Who made me join a stitchalong that will also result in a quilt (if i stick it out!)... Grin

Here is my May hoop of the First Dr. Who...it is the center of the quilt square so the hoop is going...

My original plan was to do my own painted galaxy fabric, but Ii got scared off by reports that the fabric paint washed or faded away...I did not want to do all that work for nothing!

Love the bat embroidery and that wild gnome! ha

Also, the rainbow embroidery has me singing...

Oh my goodness! I love this! I have been watching back episodes of Dr. Who on BBC America. I think they are up to the 5th doctor now.
