Working on mine, but not so sure I am happy with it.

Have an idea to do a whole wall of hoops for me and the hubby, in our bedroom. It will be things that have meaning to us, and our lives. But I will make sure it relates the the themes. Smiley

I bet it is wonderful!

We are getting close to the end of the month! I hope everyone is stitching their little fingers to the bone (well, not literally...that would be kind of gross!)

I haven't even started. But I finally decided on what to do. It's not one of my favorite things, but it is for some of my favorite people, so I'm counting it.

I'm happy with mine except it looks so bare. I just can't think of ways to jazz up the empty spaces.

And for the life of me I don't get the French knot. I'll have to check the tuts but it seems like I'd need magic to make a few swirls around the needle to stick into a knot. There must be a step that I'm missing to make it stick.

I love French knots!  I would love to do one of those negative space embroideries surrounded by French knots...after you swirl the thread around your needle three times, hold down the wraps and pull the needle through to make the knot.Be sure to poke your needle back through into your fabric.

I learned from this tutorial by Troublet... Cheesy
