Good question! I am thinking that we will just continue along with this thread for 2014. I will change the subject line to read Hoopla A-Long 2013-2014.

Kittykill, my darling, you are a GODDESS!  Thank you!  Smiley

Dont know if this really counts as a hoopla but I really had to share - I did it! I did it! I did it! I got one of my oldests WIPs finished  Grin

This Blackwork portrait of Anne of Cleeves was started about 15 years ago - I just kept getting distracted Smiley

Its on fine count aida and worked in 1/2 stranded silk. So glad to get her finished before the new year started!

That is so beautiful, bushbaby!  I can't imagine the patience to work at that scale.   Shocked

Wow!  I so admire blackwork.  Very intricate!

I hung up quite a few hoops that had been lying on my desk yesterday and decided to take a picture of my hoopla wall.  I couldn't get them all in but here is an idea of what it looks like

And these ones are above my desk

wow--what a spectacular display!   The variety is wonderful and inspiring!

I know I have improved my skills by being in this craftalong, so I am glad it is continuing even if I only make a few hoops each year!

While digging around in my stash for the destash along and the 50 projects craftalongs, I ran across 4 more half-finished hooplas, bringing my total of half-finished hooplas to work on up to 6:

My daughter's conji one.  My daughter's tribal heart.  My son's battle droid.  My heart made of keys.  My two skull ones.  I'm pretty sure there are more unfinished ones somewhere.

I'd better get to work!

That's a lot of interesting projects, dewshinesdopp!  My unfinished works are mostly in my head, though I am working on one large embroidery (not a hoop).  I have a ton of hoop (or rather, round and oval ) ideas!  Grin
