I finished this morning! This image is derived from a webcomic called Octopus Pie by Meredith Gran. I used a portion of one of her comics, and added color and some detail as I pleased.

This is going to be my entry for the month. It's the only hoopla that I've worked on this month and it's been a labor of love...



"Every piece of you is a burst of beautiful."  It's for my two little kumquats bedroom.

I finished last night, even though I can see like 1,000,000 places to add more french knots, I think it's perfect as is.

Oh my the work that went into the duck hoop with all that fill stitch!!! I don't think I could get that done in a month!

This is not my original quote.  I saw one similar on the internet but didn't quite like the wording so I changed it a little.  I don't know what struck me about it but as soon as I saw it, I just knew it would become a hoop.
