lindy--are you looking for a pen?  I draw right on the Sulky, pin it to my fabric and then embroidery right thru it...then wash it away or tear it away (not my favorite as it leave little bits no matter how hard I try...)...it works for all fabrics...

My new favorite white marker--I use this for sashiko embroidery...marks on indigo blue fabric beautifully! Irons out!

Ooooh Thank you!  I thought Sulky was a pen we had talked about before... I have used tissue paper like that but it never turns out right...

They do make pens and also have the water soluble and tear away stabilizer. I usually use a bright colored ultra fine point sharpie, draw on the stabilizer, then soak in water to remove the remaining stabilizer. I can usually see the bright pen with the dark fabric. That's how I did this one.

I ordered some Sulky stuff and can't wait to try it out.  My September hoop is ready to be stitched but I have been working on swap stuff and haven't even gotten near it.   Hopefully I will be able to get it done before the end of the month.
