That raven is going to be crazy with french knots!  I am so proud I actually mastered those last night!  I am sure the next time I try to do them I will forget the technique again...

moriarT-That is going to be so awesome and in French knots-you might be a little bit crazy! Cheesy

MsZombieElvis-I hope it's not too busy to come play.

I have two ideas, I'm just trying to decide which one I like better.

Yup, I am most definitely at least a little bit crazy, but it might not just be because of the french knots! Yay lindyv321, isn't it such an awesome feeling? It took me soooo long to get the hang of it and they are still a bit messy but they are definitely my favourite stitch. I'm sure after a few more you will be able to do them in your sleep.

I am making slow and steady progress on it. Emphasis on the SLOW!

(hope that link works!)

I am up to the V, my goal for today is to finish it, and get started on the E!

MoriarT - That raven is going to look super funky when he's done.

Well I have 2 days off work starting today and I have put my 1st day to good use. Today I designed the pattern, ironed the fabric, bought the threads and have finished about 80% of my 1st ever themed Hoopla! Im so buzzing about it. The only reason I am in bed and not still sewing right now (apart from it being 10.30pm) is that my hands & arms are too sore. I have sat sewing for about 4 hours today Grin

Might be able to get it finished, washed, pressed and framed tomorrow. We shall have to see  Cool

Nope, no sign ups! Just join in on the fun. You post your final project here and you can also post it on the needlework board.

I finished my July theme hoopla! (yesterday actually!!)

This is actually 3 of my favorite phrases - 'cup of tea?' because my husband makes me the best cups of tea that help me craft; roses because my mum always calls me her 'wild rose'; and a sparrow because my DH calls me his 'little sparrow'.

Im so happy with how this turned out  Cheesy
