I am amazed with the hoops so far this month. I couldn't find any cross stitch patterns that I liked so I thought I would try my hand at embroidery. This is my first attempt so it is pretty basic and only about 3 inches tall, but I'm happy with how it turned out. After I had it in the hoop I thought it would look better as a magnet on my fridge, so I hope it still counts. My intention was to have it in a hoop, but it told me it didn't like that. Wink

It's a sublime stitching pile of flesh. I have loved all of her patterns for a long time, but have always been too scared to try embroidery. I think I may now be addicted!

I am not sure if I will get my project done by the end of the month!  Where the heck has June gone?  I eat all the submissions so far!  Thanks for some stitch ideas, I am going to have to look a few of them up and give it a try on next month's hoop.

Summertime for me means camping and bonfires and the best part is toasting marshmallows.  I had a lot of fun playing around with this hoop.  I tried crayon tinting but I have a heavy hand Cheesy I still like the way it turned out though.

Mandobug, that is so cute!  Did you use a pile of flesh or is it your own design? It's so sweet.
