So, my sis gave me a big bag of dead computer keyboards.
This is made from four of them, keys removed, lined with the clear plastic printed circuit board that was inside. Good old E600, plus copper wire woven through it, and some of the keys reattached at top and bottom, and a small lamp inside-don't worry, the small lamp is shaded, no worries about a bare bulb being too close to the frame!
It looks very cool lit up in person.

That is just AWESOME!!! Too bad our town cancelled spring cleaning week, because last year, I saw soooo many keyboards on the side of the road...

Well, I kept putting off taking a picture of this in the dark, and now it's too late. I donated it to an art raffle the scifi con runs every year, to raise money for...I think cancer research, but my mind's blanked out on me tonight! Didn't go for a lot, but it all adds up. Now I need to make another one! I have some black keyboards I want to use. Just need to find the best way to light them.
