These are simply wonderful. Do the eggs actually go to the bird breed they are with? Do you have stands for them so you can pose them standing?

Thank you so much! Yes, the eggs actually go with the correct species. Sadly, the articulation of the legs means that if they tried to stand, their knees would just bend and they'd fall over. I guess they need leg braces!

LOVE these. Two of my favorite things - paper dolls and birds.

My Pre-K kids and I have been making paper dolls for the last few weeks - just some free images from the 'net - mermaids and harlequins and horses. I'm always on the hunt for brads - the old-school, brass fastener kind.

I was thinking of something like this:
http://www.collectionsetc.com/Product/clamp-waist-wooden-doll-stand.aspx?utm_source=www.google.com&utm_medium=CSE&mr:trackingCode=60E570C6-ADC8-E111-A306-001517384FBA&mr:referralID=NA

But a bit more light weight, of course. Then they could be displayed while posed. I bet between you and your hand Mom you could construct something. Smiley

I love the idea of the tab placement with the egg. Very clever. Fantastic realization. Love 'em!

I really dig these!  And that's saying something since birds kind of creep me out.   Wink
