Sorry, I'm one of those people who has been delinquent in posting. I know this because somehow five pages of posts have accumulated since I last checked! Embarrassed I'm having a very slow time on my main shrine. The body is done, and one part of it finished and perfect, but the rest is fighting me every step. I've just spent two days hunting for a tiny stash item that I know I had, but just cannot find. Did I use it for something else, or put it somewhere stupid? It's about the size of an ant, which isn't helping at all. Cheesy I can either go try to buy another one at the one shop that might carry it (no time for online now), try to make one from scratch, or come up with another idea. Grrrr! Angry

MaxParadise, you have a husboy who not only notices your swaps but is aware of your deadlines? Wow! How lucky are you?

If all goes well, I plan on mailing tomorrow morning.  I had hoped to mail today, but I wanted to give the last item a little more drying time.

teag's went out today and should be delivered on Wednesday. Hope I figured out this shrine thing!

Thank you, lindyv, for doing this swap. Not only did I get a wonderful partner, but it also encouraged me to try something I wouldn't normally do. I really like shrines now.

Thanks everyone for checking in!  I was planning on crafting yesterday since the shrine kits I ordered arrived but after Saturday I needed to relax!  Saturday was my honey's b-day and our neighbors bday.  We had a joint party that included a HUGE inflatable waterslide that goes into the pool.

Needless to say climbing up that slide over and over makes older out of shape girls like myself rather sore the next day!  In fact yesterday everyone was showing off their various "war wounds" from the slide.  They included a broken nose, broken toe, numerous cuts, scrapes, and bruises LOL!

Oh my.... broken noses and toes? That is some intense water-sliding. I can definitely relate to being an out-of-shape woman on an inflatable thing and finding lots of soreness at the end of the day. My experience was with special needs children in a bounce house for my little brother's birthday party when I was in college. (me = legs for disabled girl)

I still haven't packed everything up, but I do enjoy looking at the shrines I have made for Wulf! Wulf, please don't over-stress yourself! I know I made much simpler shrines then planned, and I am very happy with the results!

teag, I think I forgot to mention in my letter that the top portion of the largest shrine comes off, so you can peek inside. And if your eyes are anything like mine, you many have to take off your glasses too.  Cheesy

Side note: My mom gave me a collection of Catholic pendants/charms but I have no idea what to do with them. Any ideas?
