This is my mammoth crochet task!! its been a nightmare! I started it months and months ago but it came out awful so i re-purposed it into an Ipad case lol, but i still had all the wool lying around so i decided to take another stab at it this time using a larger hook and doubling the stitches.

I am using the doctorwhoscarf.com season 12 pattern and a 5mm hook i had found an actual crochet pattern but that required a 10mm hook which i bought but could not get on with at all, hence why i am doubling the stitches.

The Ipad Case

Progress so far..

as you can see my tension is rubbish the sides are all wobbly but it stretches out nicely..

Yay! Another crocheted Who scarf. Smiley I made one last year.

You know, it might not be your tension. A few of my colors (because I wasn't using the same weight/brand for all of my yarn) do the same thing as your scarf. I think my tension is fairly consistent, so I'm thinking its the change in yarns.

i never thought of that, most of the wool i am using is double knitting, and is from the same brand but two colours are from a different brand (green/purple) either way im sure you wont be able to tell once im wearing it right? Tongue
