I'm of the opinion that offensive is deeply contextual and in the eye of the beholder.

That said, there's no point in being obviously offensive. I'd say put them in opaque bags with a tag that has the words on it with a letter changed to a hashtag. Like "f##k". That way if someone wants to buy it they can, without it being 'out there'.

I'd also suggest selling at anime cons, Comicons, and Dragoncon. Even the ones billed as family cons...well, there are stalls that sell -every-thing. And everyone going knows that.

I will also vouch for the definition of offensive changing DRASTICALLY  from coast-to-coast. On my great cross-country adventure, I wore an out-fit my Conservative Christian Grandma was fine with in a small town in the West. The looks I got suggested I was I playing Lady Godiva. It's all context.

I commend the OP for being considerate of this, and asking how to sell without offense Smiley

First of all, it's sad that although it's not certain peoples' taste, they put your times down.

But anyway... I'm a 26 year old mother of two young young children. I would still probably buy something from you (that is, it wouldn't offend me and scare me away). My husband and I still have a sense of humor like that and we've just got that personality. I doubt that'll change any time soon. You can be mature but still have a naughty side.

I like the idea of having a binder with pictures or having a sign saying you have adult only ones but keeping them off your table... perhaps in a box behind the table and you can hand it to them if they are old enough.
