I have never thought of myself as creative or crafty but after watching my daughter participate in craft swaps I decided to at least try my hand at it.
In the past I have made things that other people have liked and I got to thinking that with the swaps there are guidelines to help you in your creative process so I decided to join in.
I hope to be able to participate in an swap soon as myself and not on the sidelines just watching.
I will start with things that I know and love like the coffee swap that just wrapped up recently but hope to become more adventurous as I practice making things at home.
I promise not to join any swaps that I feel are above my level so that my partner will not be disappointed with what they receive from me. I have a seasoned artist at home who will be able to give constructive criticism until I am able to do a project justice.
Hoping to meet some new friends and to make someone smile with a swap package.

I believe you when you say they are addictive. I have been watching the swap galleries for awhile now and even though I wasn't participating I was thinking of things I could make to swap.
I have even went so far as to purchase a Little Visitor for the next round of that swap. Pre-planning is probably highly indicative of an addiction.
Thanks for welcoming me, I am glad to be here.

Welcome to Craftster!  I can't wait to see you in the swap galleries!  (not that I swap that often anymore, due to life feeling hectic.  But I do lurk a lot too!)
