I did a personal swap with ladybugsandbumblebees.  She requested a door quilt to help solve a problem that she was having and thought this might help create a sound barrier.  I was given the freedom to create whatever I wanted.  I decided to use a lot of things that I knew she liked and bring the spring indoors.  This quilt will hang from a door.  The 3 D items are things I have collected along my journey here on craftster from prior swaps so I want to give credit to the following:

sarahelise....crocheted butterfly
spikefan......snail
moma24boyz....owls
ladybugsandbumblebees......frog button

I sewed on all the buttons, bees, ladybugs and frog so they can be washed.  The flower stems are made from ribbon or ric rac and sewn too.  The felt birdhouse is suspended from a chain and removable for washing along with those 3D items that are safety pinned from the back.

Hoping this solves her problem if not at least she has a decorative door!!!!! Grin

Wow! I love it, it's so cute and happy. Now, will you have to make her one for each season?
