Wow! That looks wonderful! And so much recycling in its construction. Smiley

I'm so inspired! and I think I may have found the perfect craft for my poor beloved leather jacket ... although I quail a little inside to think of cutting it .... ooooh, shivery! But I could make a book for my daughter too, which would be a nice mother-daughter thing. Tomorrow - today I have to study accounting. Damn you Craftster, for sucking my attention and every spare moment I have!

Wow. Just wow. I have a whole collection of store-bought journals and sketchbooks that I'm quite frankly afraid to use. My art is not up to tarnishing those pristine surfaces. What you've come up with is a way around that. All I would be doing by sketching in it is *embellishing* it! You're a genius!

I carry a bag that says FREE KNITTING LESSONS on my daily transit commute, & give a little hands-on tutorial to anyone who asks. They get a starter kit with needles, enough cotton yarn to make a plain dishcloth and a set of instructions. Swaps/donations for materials welcome!
