Me and Ffrogg526 met in person on Saturday to swap!

I had an awesome time, got spoiled with awesome goodies, and learned that you get some wonderfully strange looks if you unwrap MYBs in restaurants and/or coffee shops.

So without further ado the goodies:

First the ball before unwinding, and also a view of the first item a crocheted Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas.

Next the yarns (the back two balls are actually a medium purple but I could only get them to appear black or blue in pics for some reason):

The two patterns (corseted mitts and a pattern for slippers):

An overall picture of the rest of the goodies (2 lego ornaments, 4 halloween fat quarters, 3 homemade bath bombs in different scents, Dr. Who shrinky-dink charms, polymer clay, some pre-made polymer clay pieces for future crafting, ribbon for the corseted mitts, a polymer clay pendant, a prayer flag, 4 crocheted sugar skulls, and a life is good plaque):

A close up picture of the Dr. Who shrinky-dinks, the gorgeous polymer clay pendant, and the prayer flag (which says grow, its kinda hard to read in the pic):

And finally a close up of the life is good plaque to show all of the amazing polymer clay details:

I love everything!  Thank you sooo much Ffrogg526!!

You are so welcome!  It was a blast crafting for you!  I just have to not be slack and get pictures of my goodies!  I've been wearing some of them already!  I will try to do that soon!  Undecided

I received my MYB from lindyv321 yesterday and just got around to taking some pics. Prepare to be jealous!
The ball

The yarn Awesome Peace-Fleece yarn.  Patterns are "Dovetail" and "Treads".  I plan on casting on for the treads fingerless mitts tomorrow.

Goodies

Handmade goodies

Prayer flag I was bummed that I missed the prayer flag swap so I was so happy she made a flag for me!

Dog toys Lindy included some dog toys.  Here's an action shot of Stella enjoying herself.

I have been hesitant to join swaps because I've been let down in the past so it was nice to get back into the game.  Thanks lindyv321!

Sidenote - Lindy made me a pair of cute owl earrings.  It's funny because I work as a teacher in an Indian reservation and the natives are really superstitious when it comes to owl things.  They believe that if you see a white owl you will die. Soooooooo prob won't wear them to work but I will definitely wear them out.  Grin

I am glad you liked your goodies!  I am wishing I had chosen different colors for the prayer flag after seeing some of the ones you had pinned.  Glad that Stella seems to be enjoying her toys too!

I love my little prayer flag!  The colors remind me of a lotus blossom.

I love my little prayer flag!  The colors remind me of a lotus blossom.

I looked up lotus blossom embroidery patterns and one of the ones that popped up is what I used for the embroidered part.

Here's my package from wdicwg!!  I got some really awesome goodies!  Cheesy

I don't have any actual yarn ball pictures but here's the yarn it was wrapped in.  Smiley  wool yarn by Sheepish.  LOVE the color!  Here's a link to the pattern she sent me!  Cannot wait to start this!  Its so pretty!

I think this is my favorite thing from the whole package.  Its all awesome but this is really my fav!  Shrinky-Dink butterfly wing with beads and curly-cue.

Appliqued pillow case.  Very pretty!

Goodies!  We have a bookmark, 2 pairs of earrings, awesome natural sea turtle buttons, stitch markers, various beads and charms, embroidered paper mini frame, sparkly goodies that I can use for my fairy garden this summer, and a magnet frame with fairy and mushroom.

Close up pictures of the two frames.

Sea turtle etching!  Not sure what I'll do with this yet but its really cool!  Cheesy

Thanks!  This was a fabulous swap!  It was so much fun to meet wdicwg!
