Hey!!!! Its my turn!!!  My partner jtlhmmwabodf totally spoiled me!!!!  First, I love how she doodled on the box.

OK, on to the goodies, I opened it to this

Heres my yarn all wound up.  The blue skein is actually 2 skeins.  I shoulda wrapped them individually, sorry.  One is cool colours and one is warm colours, all make up kinda a rainbow.  Now the rainbow one is beautiful.  Its handspun and handdyed!!!!!!!!!!  Thick and thin yarn, I love that!!  Have to find the perfect pattern for it.

Now the goodies, lots of candies, mmmmmm

The boys are going to love these hats.  Theres a goomba and a creeper hat.  At first I thought the creeper hat was a toque, but I LOVE this version!!!! I may just have to keep it!!!!  Roll Eyes

Heres some bought goodies.  The pencil smells yummy. I love the little start tea rest.

This ones special cuz she sent it just for my iguana loving mom!!!  I love it!! Its so pretty!!

Now all my handmade goodies, I got hair clippies, flowers, heart garland, handmade wooden buttons, Mario pins, friendship bracelets, a polished rock bracelet with kids birthstone colours and a knitted bracelet.  I may have forgotten something in my list.

I absolutely love everything!!!  Thank you so much!!!!!!

Great MYB and pretty handspun!   Cheesy

Everything is awesome so far! Avesthal, you are going to have a lot of us asking how you made the hank necklace! Myself included!

I'll try my best to explain!   Smiley  It took me about 20 times wrapping that little hank to get it the right size and looking ok.  The hard part was figuring out how many wraps of yarn I needed and the size of the wraps.   I don't recall what it was now since I tried so many times.  I think the loops were about 12 inches (maybe smaller?) and maybe 5 loops?   The yarn is sock weight.   And to twist the hank I used a crochet hook and knitting needle since my fingers were making too large of loops on the ends.  The crochet hook helped me to get one loop inside the other.   Then I added jump rings to the tiny hank and then a chain to the rings.   Smiley    Hope that helps!

I received from my partner, adrienne_bowers, today!

Unfortunately, I cannot take and post photos, so I will post descriptions of the items, and hopefully she will post photos so you can see what she sent.

Here goes:

-The items were wrapped in two different balls of varigated yarns, both of which included orange  Cheesy
-Three skeins of vintage yarn-one burgundy, one fuzzy and white, and one thin, varigated in pastel colors.
-Two wood, sticky back items:  one says 'memo' and one is a mustache  Cheesy
-A small ducky magnet
-A heart shaped plastic holder thingy with earrings inside that I plan on wearing tomorrow to work
-8 small metal items that you could put on a charm bracelet that say things like "believe"
-a zebra print travel tissue holder
-12 blue and red granny squares
-A packet of sunflower seeds, and a varied seed packet
-Two ceramic owls sitting on a branch
-A "Forget Me Not" flower grow kit
-Two different types of wristlets
-Cupcake shaped bath fizz
-A wax(?) cupcake shaped item
-A 'smak pak' balloon package-you smack the package and the balloon pops out and inflates!
-A cupcake ornament
-A metal bookmark
-A cricket looking creation with a top hat and tails!
-Four vintage crochet magazines
-A roll of three color heart ribbon

Thank you Adrienne!

Thank you

Inside I found lots of goodies

This super cute needle book

Two yummy recipes one of which I think I am going to make for the kids this weekend and an awesome embroidery pattern book

A cloud and raindrop necklace from my Pinterest which I love!

And last but not least are some whimsies!!  I love the kewpie doll and all the goodies from the ocean

Thanks so much SlickMariaVic!  I hope you like your package as much as I liked mine Smiley

Horay! I'm so glad you liked everything and that it got to you in once piece.  I found the Kewpie in a digger estate sale where the strange owner of the house was just giving things away by the bagful. Smiley  I can't wait to see the beautiful wreath you make. Keep me posted.

I plan on putting her in a massive whimsy display I am going to be making for myself.  I bought an awesome printers tray that I am going to alter and fill with whimsical things I have collected over the years and I think she will fit right in!
