Be warned - this post is image heavy!!
My wondrous ball of wonderfulness arrived from Ninaprettyballerina today. I had a 'ball'
unwinding (and unwinding and unwinding some more
) to find all the goodies hidden within!! I recruited a similiar craft minded work colleague to help me (photographic evidence below)
Here is the box on opening and a great pattern book "Whimsical Little Knits 2"
This is the ginormous yarn ball - Nina does not feel like it looked very pretty - but mine looked exactly the same and it looked splendid to me. Cue work friend winding the yarn for me as I unwrapped
There was lots of gorgeous yarn included for lots and lots of great projects - beautiful colours that I just love
There were heaps of lovely vintage and other buttons - I have so many ideas in mind for these - one of the patterns Nina suggested (wristwarmers with buttons) will definitely be made with a mixture of the yarn I received and some of these awesome buttons. And the best tape measure ever - a dinosaur with retractable tail
And some great dinosaur polymer clay pins Nina made.
How cute is this little coffee cup ami
Rawr - these bad boys will come in very handy for posting things on my work filing cabinet and the fridge at home - dinosaur magnets
Nina took inspiration from my Prehistoricness board on Pinterest
Two beaded necklaces and 3 bracelets - all beautiful and going to be worn often!!
And lots of great extras including: french knitting bee and pompom maker, beautiful green beads and earrings, stickers, stitch markers, a little coin purse, paperclips, mini spirograph (coolness), earrings perfume, erasers and tissues. I can't wait to use all these bits and pieces in crafts!!
Thanks so much Nina - you're the best!!
