This little jacket is made from fabric repurposed from the lining of a very old dress I found in a thrift shop. The tulle trim was found in a craft store and just happened to match the vintage fabric perfectly.

Didn't use a pattern. I just took a few measurements, sketched out how the pieces should look on paper, then drew my pattern directly on the fabric with chalk and cut it out.

Thank you  Smiley

Yep, with something like this you can get away with not making a pattern because the shapes are simple. After working on a few projects you have an idea of what the pieces should look like before you sew them together. If I had wanted to add darts or a certain sleeve shape then I probably would've made a paper pattern first.
