i just had an idea that will either turn out to be a stroke of genius or an epic failure.now if i can figure out a way to get into my closet for some supplies without disturbing the sleeping boyfriend.....on second thought, testing may have to wait until tomorrow

Of course, I should be grading a HUGE stack of papers right now... I'll do that right after I eat dinner... and watch an episode of Six Feet Under (I'm having a salad for dinner... it takes a long time to chew... Smiley ).

I am wondering if you are my alter ego..lol...I graded a mountain of papers all day Sunday, so that I could focus on some craft today..and also started watching six feet under on sunday night... no salad though, it still feels too wintery in Ireland to consider salad ..it is more french fry weather (isn't it always!)

Perhaps we are twins, separated at birth.. Smiley Or, cousins in some way... my grandfather was from Ireland! And, today is more of a soup day than a salad day (pretty blustery around here!), but if I don't eat the veggies before they spoil, it's a waste...

To my dearest swap partner loulew28

Unfortunately, I've found out the hard way that potato stamps only last a couple of days before they dry up and rot away.  I had been planning on finishing up your fat quarter tonight but alas... all I'm getting from my potato stamps are blobs.  Back to the drawing board.

Yours truly

I tried a new technique yesterday and failed miserably.  So I ordered some supplies so I can create some fabulous fabric for my partners.

Washing successful! Design intact!! Phew.

Going to do one more fat quarter, one more wash of each to get all the "residue" off (no hints!), and I should be good to go!

Eeep.  4 pages behind and I haven't even tried to read them yet.  I'm just checking in to let you all know I am still here.  We finally are getting some warm dry days so I'll be working on my prints soon!
