Finally got my package in the mail yesterday, although everything seemed to be conspiring against it. I packaged it all up Wednesday morning before work and took it with me to mail at lunch as I usually do. But something came up and I didn't have time at lunch, so I thought "No problem, I'll stop at the post office on the way home." When I left work, though, I was already on the streetcar before I realized I was no longer carrying the bag with my package - I'd left it on the floor when I sat down to change out of my workboots. Sad "Okay, I guess that means I'll mail it tomorrow," I thought. On Thursday, though, I got to work and realized I'd left my wallet at home! Now I had the package but no money to mail it. Angry This time I wasn't going to be put off so easily so I borrowed some cash from a co-worker and headed straight to the post office. I half expected it to be closed, or the computers to be down or something, but in fact I was able to get it in the mail without further incident.

You're probably right, but she had other obligations that had to be fulfilled!

I received a beautifully simple Isis from whatthepuck today. She's lovely! I am away camping for the weekend and crazy busy packing tonight, so I doubt I'll get a chance to post a photo til Monday.
