I started this beach coverup/sweater about a year ago and finished it last October, but never managed to get photos of it! I wore it today over top of jeans and a black t-shirt as these spring days are a little chilly still!  I used Sirdar Just Bamboo Yarn that I got on sale, and the pattern booklet came with it.  After attempting several different other patterns I came bak to the Sirdar booklet and went at it!  I brought the neckline up a lot, and lengthened it at the hem, so I could throw it over top of a swimsuit and have ample coverage of my behind!  Here is the Ravelry Link *i hope this is okay to post a link ... the rules have changed since I first joined Craftster) with a few notes:

Oh I love the pattern!
I had a similar sweater (only striped) when I was little, my mom knitted it for me.. It was my favourite!
Thanks for sharing!

This is gorgeous. I've been wanting to knit a layering sweater for years now and can never quite make myself do it. Yours looks amazing!

Thanks!  I really  need  to wear it more often, with the amount of work that it took!
