It's still cool to me, man.

Hi all!

I bought this filing cabinet for $3 at a garage sale last week:

I loved the orange, but it was all chipped and faded and there was some rust on it. So I sanded the crap out of it, primed it, and painted it with the first two colors I fell in love with at the spray paint cage at Home Depot.

The whole project took less than three hours and cost less than $10 (including the purchase of the filing cabinet)!

Thanks! The colors are called Sage and Paprika...both things I like to cook with too! Smiley

At first I was worried that the Sage was going to be too close to the khaki green that some boring file cabinets are, but I think it turned out really nice.

$3? That was a good find, and it's even better now. It looks like you just bought it from a shop.

What a piece of junk that was!  I would have passed it by for sure, but you made a real gem out of it.
