I have been having so much fun this week playing around with some new techniques in my version of quilling - and while doing so, made this cute little pendant that I turned into a necklace using hemp cord.  It's pretty fun and I am sure to be making more of these babies Smiley

Starfish ... I really wanna go to the sea and search for some ... I want better weather.

I think you did again such an amazing job. It is so fantastic to see, how creative quilling could be :3. I am always happy to see new quilling projects you have made.

Do you have a tutorial on how to preserve the pieces so that they can be worn? I actually love quilling but especially after receiving a piece of yours, I'm curious as to how you have it so strong and well preserved! Mine seem so flimsy!

I do! There are a few free tutorials on my website that include how I seal my wearable quilled pieces.  I think the biggest thing though that helps me is the way I quill.  I roll really tight, dense coils compared to most quillers and that means more paper is used and my work is more durable.  I seal my jewelry with an enamel and then spray with an acrylic.  The piece I sent you though was only sprayed with the acrylic.
