Whether you are a new artist or a pro, linocut printing is a great way to print your art. You simply cannot get the same hand crafted one of a kind print with modern machinery.

Looking for a new way to sell your artwork? Jon personally finds that potential customers love the idea of buying a hand crafted print that was made directly by the artist.

This primitive printing method will surely capture your imagination and allow you to feel even more proud of the work you put in to see the finished product.

Come join Jon for a great evening and a perfect opportunity to try something new!

What you get:
Your own 4"x6" Linoleum (Softoleum or Easy-Cut)
Your own finished print - provided you create a simple enough design you can carve in approximately 1 hour.

NEW BONUSES:
Jon will be doing a demonstration with one of my his prints from his Etsy store. Each attendee will get a free art print signed by Jon ($16 value)
If 10 or more tickets are sold Jon will draw names and the winner will receive a starters kit with everything they need to linocut more art at home.

Recommendations:
Come prepared with a sketch or drawing already done. Make sure the drawing is simple and does not have too small of lines. Although you will briefly be shown some image transfer methods, you will be asked to re-draw your artwork on the linoleum. So again, try and keep it simple! Also, if you have words, you will need them to be reversed. It is easiest to make a mirrored photocopy of your design. Search Etsy for Linocut or Block Printing to find some examples.

Date: Saturday April 27, 2013 2pm - 4pm
Location: 111 Jarvis St, Toronto, ON
Cost: $25
