Last year I purchased a pattern for a Kimono block.  The minute I saw it I knew exactly what I wanted to do.  I would go through my stash, pick out some of my favorite fabrics and make a wall quilt.  I got right at it but other things came up and it got put to the side until last week.  A big problem arose though, I had added to my stash.  I wanted to make more kimonos but it would have been way too large if I added all I wanted, so I limited myself to 5 more making it was one row wider.  It measures 24" x 37".

Thanks for the compliments.  My hubby knew I was working on this and when I showed it to him, hanging in the livingroom, he was quite impressed and really liked how bright it was.

I love this!  Every single block is beautiful.  I especially love the ribbon candy one and the black hearts.  I'm so envious.   Smiley

That's adorable!  And looks do-able, too.  At first I thought it must be paper-pieced, which I don't have patience or time for now, but when I saw that it was applique, I had hope that I could do it!  Wonderful job on this!
