This batch of soap was made with vegetable, coconut and palm oil and coloured naturally with paprika. A chilli and vanilla essence was added for the scent and then I used a pillar to do a marble effect. I hadn't done this before and I think it turned out ok. It smells lovely and has lovely big bubbles!

Thanks for looking Smiley

It's a hard smell to describe but it is nice, sort of fresh but zingy, not too sweet like some vanilla scents can be....think the paprika adds to the smell too. I found an avacado and orange scent recently too...which is odd, lol x

These look almost edible in their creaminess.  Your choice of fragrance is an interesting combination.

Very nice looking!

I'm jealous!  I have not learned to do swirls yet... I'm still a novice melt & pourer.

What do you mean 'used a pillar' for the marble effect??  Sounds interesting.

Have the soaps darkened on you yet due to the vanilla??  Did the pinky-peach color survive the vanilla discoloring??

Are you still experimenting with your oils selections for your soap recipe??  Have you ever tried lard??  Make a batch substituting your palm oil with lard (recalculate lye amount).  Viva la difference!  Once I made this change 14 years ago and handed the soap out to my testers, I've not looked back and have not used palm oil since then

I'm jealous!  I have not learned to do swirls yet... I'm still a novice melt & pourer.

You can do swirls with M&P!!  Also, look into M&P soap gems ... beautiful creations!!

I like the idea of that scent.  Sounds like it could be really lovely!  The soap itself looks pretty too.
