Two of mine never arrived, either, from michelleandbean, so today I received these replacements.

For my caboose theme

The thing I like about this wee one is how chunky he is. I think it's just adorable!

And sunflower theme...

I like how she did not just go the regular route and center the blossom.  also, the background is my absolute fave color of turquoise, I mean Right On.
Thank you so much, michelleandbean. So sorry the first ones never came. Are they just like these?  Did you take any pics of them?

I have received my amazing amazing ATC from KittyHerman! It probably arrived a while ago but I have not been home for the past two weeks and thus could not check my mail. I am so sorry, KittyHerman!

This is the adorable kitty she sent me:

Recieved my "Slap a cog on it and call it Steampunk" card fromPaperbeau
The first one got lost on the way, and she was kind to resend.
Well, without further ado, here's "A Steampunk Poem"

At this point my husband was hanging over my shoulder, as a curious cat.  Cheesy

The poem reads:

"There once was a girl, liked to run
Who also thought mechanics good fun.
She went for a jog,
got lost in a bog,
And thought: that's my luck about done!

Wading in mud she got stuck -
up to her knees in bog muck
She reached for a cog
and the lead for her dog
to pull herself out of the yuck!"

I was laughing so hard when I read this! First of all, I loved limericks as a kid,
and second, this is exactly what I didn't know I wanted from this theme!
You nailed it!  Grin I love this ridiculous notion of "steampunking" things up,
and this was so out of the blue, and so perfect! You made me happy today Paperbeau!

btw... did you make the paper yourself? It feels so luxurious and thick and handmade.

Aww I'm so glad you liked it! I find steam punk such an odd notion, so I tried to play on it a little bit by including a completely unnecessary cog in the girls day Smiley

I wanted to try something new - and there it is! That, for me, is the wonderful thing about ATCs, you can do anything!!

The grey paper is mine, the blue/purple was found in a stash of my crafting materials from my childhood at my parents house. Who knows where it came from?!

I have not seen this in the gallery, so I will post it. It is the theme of Cheesy Romance Covers, done for Oath Keeper.

I love this theme and have done it for her before...  hope I can do it again. This time, I chose the old-fashioned word for womanizer, which pretty much never gets used anymore. My favorite touch to add was the 'farmer's tan'... and the author's name!
