KittyKill pinned a really adorable pendant the other day with the dewey decimal code for fairy tales. The moment I saw it, I went searching for other dewey decimal codes to incorporate into craft projects Smiley.

I found the code for sewing books, 646.2, and decided to stitch up a couple of sewing journals!

The first is a wonky patchwork cover made with quilting cottons and linen. I stamped the numbers with a permanent ink pad. It's about 5" x 8".

I stenciled the numbers on the second journal with fabric paint! I just love the little pin fabric - perfect for a sewing journal Smiley.

Thanks for checking them out! You can find all kinds of inspiring dewey decimal codes on this site.

Oh, I love this. One of my friends is a librarian and I am always noting things I think would make a great gift for her. This totally fits the bill. Cheesy
