OH, I'm bad bad bad at sewing. I mean it, really bad!!!!! I've been making clothes for a while but avoiding sewing at all costs. (I've been using superglue, staples and safety pins instead!) I recently accquired an old sewing machine to get over my sewing inertia. I decided to get some old scraps of material to practice on and I made a little gift, a mobile for my friend who's having a baby. Dont know if its a boy or girl, so I tried to make it sort of unisex. Tell me what you think. I know its messy, but I sort of like it that way. I left the seams on the outside on purpose.

Oh that is sooo cute! I like the variety of it and how it looks random. For someone with bad sewing skills(as you claimed), I'd say you've done a very nice job Wink

That is super cool. I was thinking about how fun it would be to make a mobile, and yours is fantastic.

I think it's really cute  Smiley and so creative , and I totally feel your sewing struggles I'm a complete moron with a sewing machine allthough I did make my chihuahua 2 harness outfits yesterday. Start small and work your way up and you'll be an expert before you know it.
