This was my embroidery hoop for a partner in the recent Embroidery Hoop Swap. She asked for something with stumpwork, and the theme was "not just thread", so I combined the stumpwork leaves with needle-felted strawberries, and beaded blackberries. (The strawberries also have teeny little seed beads). The design was based on a very similar one that my partner had on pinterest, but that one was all stumpwork and also had blueberries.

The actual embroidery on the hoop was pretty limited, but it does exist Tongue There are little green swirls and dots at the base of the leaves where I attached them all.

Pinned!
Love the detail, and LOVE the "not just thread" aspect.
