Ooooh!  I like that idea.  Sprinkle some edible glitter over the top after piping -BAM- Sparkly Sprinkles!  Love it!

And thanks guys!  The poptarts were super yummy!  Like a handheld peach pie!

bahaha, sorry.

I have a poptart maker http://www.target.com/p/bella-pastry-tart-maker/-/A-14232066  So I just made a pie crust--I used a recipe with coconut oil.  Then rolled really really thin.  The maker comes with a rectangle cutter, so used that, then spooned a tablespoon of homemade peach jam on one.  Covered with another side, then pressed down the edges.  Slipped it into the maker and let it cook.  When finished I made icing from powdered sugar and milk until the consistency was like thick syrup, then drizzled over the top.  Added some sprinkles and yum!  Devour!

Oh yes, I'm a kitchen appliance collector, I know all the fun food makers LOL!  I have more waffle makers than members of my family, all different shapes and sizes.  I've got donut makers and cookie makers, waffle cone makers... and on and on.  They're lots of fun, but I am running out of shelf space way too quickly.  Grin

OOh!  If you use a multi-opening tip, you won't have to pipe as many lines!  Smiley  I'm thinking something along the lines of a Wilton #134

Wow! I LOVE this idea! I'm a sprinkle addict, as is my boyfriend's 2 year old daughter. And sprinkles definitely do get expensive...this recipe will come in handy for the holidays. But I think I'm going to test it out sooner. The kids love helping in the kitchen and this recipe is simple enough for them to participate in. Thank you for sharing!
