I loved the shape and fabric of this dress but felt like there was too much fabric going on up top but was nervous to ruin it! So after a little research on how to reconstruct it with hemming and interfacing I went for it.

Great recon!  Did you add interfacing to the knecline before hemming?

Thanks! Yes I did this thing I read online where you sew interfacing onto the right side of the fabric and then flip it over and top stitch it... at least I think that's what it was trying to explain... I'm sure there's probably neater ways of doing it so you can't see the facing on the inside, but it got the job done!

A simple but very effective recon!  way cuter and also a more modern and younger look...love it on you...the belt adds a lot as well
