Spring break is here, so I have been having fun crafting with the kids! TOday we painted cookies, and even the 5 year old had a blast Smiley

I baked sugar cookies yesterday, then outlined and flooded them with white royal icing last night. They dried into perfect little canvases overnight, then this morning we painted them with food coloring.
I used the wilton gel colors and a small (used for food only) paintbrush to decorate the cookies. If you like to do watercolor painting, this is very similar Smiley

Pac man and friends are made with a circle cutter (with a "mouth" cut out from it) and a mini tulip cutter turned upside down.

The kids had lots of fun -- and the best part is, you can just eat your mistakes!
