i was wondering if during the initial drying process of the drawing fluid and screen filler there were better places then others to put the screen. in my graphics class we were told to keep it in a cool dark area.. does that apply to this method also? and how long will the screens last when making them this way?

I was never told specifically when I was learning how to do this, to keep it in a cool dark area. I've always just left it on my work table to dry. The important part is to keep it level so as it's drying the screen filler doesn't pool up to one side. My screens have lasted for quite some time. I just had to retire one of the first ones I made a year ago but I had printed with it countless times, if I had to estimate probably over 100 times.
