I am having the hardest time with the July Fandom Fanfic one. The only thing that comes to mind when I hear the word fanfic is actual written stories. Anyone else having a hard time crafting something for this one?

I haven't got a clue what to do. I'm on the same page: I think of actual stories.

Thanks! I'm trying to get things done in the meantime, but a bit of anxiety about the whole thing has me flitting about the house, not getting much done.

ETA: The cast is off! I still have to wear a splint, but I can at least touch my thumb and index finger together. It's not much, but it might help with holding things... Especially since I couldn't find something to work to hold the hexagons for my Research Project...

Thanks for that. I was absent most of July. Stayed away to get a bit of organizing done because this place always makes me want to do something instead of cleaning or any other chores.

ok so...the item I've been working on for the July battle is taking even longer than I expected, so even if I had started it right away, I never would have been able to complete it in time for the end of the battle.  Sad  but I want to finish it because I DO NOT give up on cross stitch projects.  I just now started on the last color.  and I've been working on this thing at LEAST 5 days out of every week...

Grin  thanks for the encouragement, craftADDchick.  Grin  I will also try my best not to bleed on it.  I've been poking my fingers like CRAZY with this one for some reason.  I've even drawn blood a few times.  Undecided  maybe I'll stop into a craft store while I'm out today and see about some thimbles.  yes.  plural.  I've been stabbing 3 of the fingers on my left hand more than any other finger(s).  Roll Eyes  go figure.

Augh, bleeding on a project!  Maybe it isn't a proper project if you don't bleed on it at least a little....   Tongue

You're just making sure to leave enough DNA on it to prove it's yours if anyone ever asks  Wink
