I'm about halfway done with my August Battle project.  I have ideas for a couple of August Challenges, but probably won't be able to do more than that for this final month.  Too many other non-Craftster projects!   Tongue

the gremlins are at it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to work on my battle project last night, but I couldn't find my hand drill no matter how hard I looked.  so, I grabbed a needle tool to attempt to make a divot in...what I'm using for the project, and then I tried to use a bead reamer to make a hole.  needless to say, it didn't work.  today I just happened to look down and there was my hand drill.  why are the gremlins screwing with me?!  Sad  I could have used my Dremel, but I didn't want to turn it into some "huge" project.  Roll Eyes

I hear ya, K_K. The gremlins have been very active here of late. Mine have a particular taste for seam rippers.  Roll Eyes

Paying work is taking much less time than I expected, so I will be able to spend more time crafting.  I can't do much else, having to hide out from the 100F+ temperatures.   Roll Eyes

My August Randomizer alternate geekdom is *drumroll* - Harry Potter!  My 83 year old dad is a huge Harry Potter fan, so I'm making him a special embroidery for his birthday.  Smiley

I was going to make only 1 more t-shirt... honest! But then, I had an idea for the "waves" challenge (I've been stuck on that for a while), and it was well suited to another t-shirt... Hopefully, if the cast comes off on Tuesday, I'll be able to craft with a little more variety Smiley

I'm hiding from the heat and looking for inspiration, myself.

Yay for Harry Potter! Grin

I'm having a tough time with the "I have got to get me one of these!" August fandom challenge, because there isn't much if any fanstuff from my specific favorite geekdom, Gormenghast.  Very little fanart or craft going on with those books, except my own!    Roll Eyes  So I'll have to come up with my own idea of something I gotta have.  All my ideas are probably too elaborate, though.  Huh  Lovecraft, my alternate specific fandom, is the opposite.  Tons of fanstuff out there for Lovecraft.  But nothing I gotta have!  Broadening it to "Spooky" is almost too broad.  There's an awful lot of great spooky stuff out there!   Cheesy
