Definitly IN Cheesy Pinkleo, you are just the most awesomest!

two questions:
- can stuff 'count; to more than one craftalong? so if I submit to the HPC, can I submit here too (if the project fits challenges applicable in both, I mean... so if HC challenge A and NG challenge z can be drawn as a venn diagram with a given craft project in the overlap)

- does real world science & maths count as a nerdom? Or does it have to be a fandom? I love all the Hp, Doctor who, discworld* stuff... but what really gets me jumpy up and down is REAL world applied maths Cheesy
(*this is not an exhaustive list...)

YES!!!  If you participate in the Summer Term of the HPC, you may enter a project in both craftalongs, if they meet a prompt.  (And I love the use of venn diagram here. Cool)

YES!!!  Math and Science are real world Geekdoms and are definitely part of the Nerdyverse.  And if it makes you jump up & down & smile, then it is definitely part of the Nerdyverse. Grin

Hope that helps!  Thanks for asking!

As a fan of BBC, YA literature, Science Fiction and Fantasy I'm definitely interested.

This is so perfect!  I have so many related projects on my to-do lists.  But how will I ever choose between my nerdy loves?

Sounds good, I am not sure how many challenges I will be able to do as I will be recovering from having my knees replaced.
Do we have to join a team? I would hate to be a hindrance if I can't keep up.

My Geekdoms are:
Horror (especially classic horror)
Sci-fi/fantasy (Steampunk, dystopia, Lovecraft)
Gothic/Halloween  (Burton, etc)
D&D/rpgs
Kitschy stuff (weird pop culture stuff)

Oh I'm so in!

Deciding on a geekdom is -like most other people have said- is going to be hard!

BBC, Zombies, Fantasy stuff, Sci-Fi, And so on and on and onnn...

I have to say, as a brit, seeing 'bbc' write like its a genre is very amusing  Wink it's  like asking someone what they like yo eat and them saying 'well, my favourite is food'...

I would love to participate, but I've never done a Craftster sign up/group/etc.

My nerddoms are quite plentiful:

-Doctor Who (I have a gallifreyan tattoo that says "witty little knitter.")
-Video games - mostly RPGs, but some of all genres.
-Cartoons
-Star Wars
-I <3 the Princess Bride to the fact it's a nerddom - let's stretch this to SO MANY MOVIES.
-Table top games
-SO MANY MOAR.
