I'm thinking of way to turn in more decoupage projects... Tongue
Just waiting for 3 more projects to finally dry overnight.

I might be starting a crochet project too.

I got the material for my research project yesterday and am putting the finishing touches on my pattern...I'll probably begin stitching tonight!  I might be able to post a couple other projects today or tomorrow, too.

Hmm, was my research project not approved?

I bet she just forgot to list it or missed it in that whirlwind of updates!  Grin  You could PM her if you want to be sure!

I can't wait to see more of your projects, lilyla19!  Wink

I was wondering, can I post something that doesn't fit into any challenge, but is, for example, nerdy, to get some nerdy points?

To receive points projects need to fit one of the challenges/battles/alerts, or be a research project.  I bet you could make any project fit into one of the monthly challenges (textbook, media, wordy, fandom, randomizer) so far though, and since those ones don't have to be turned in the same month, you can go all the way back to monthly challenges for May!  Wink

blarf! Tongue  After 15 pages for updating...I had this feeling I must have missed something/screwed up somewhere.  But I gotcha now. Grin  Sorry I missed it. Sad  Never hesitate in PMing me if I miss something.  I would rarely ever not approve a project (it would have to be blatantly not fit the guidelines).  I'm definitely human and bound to make mistakes (honestly, I can't believe I don't screw up more often Cheesy)

ditto to LovelyMiss' fabulous reply Grin Bonus Points are bonuses for completing the challenges/battles/alerts.  They do not stand alone. Smiley

My nerd was showing yesterday Tongue We were at a party for my cousin's wedding anniversary (together for 25 years, married for 17) and there was a magician too, wandering from table to table, performing card tricks. After he finished his trick at our table, he said "Thanks for your attention, you were fantastic. So was I!" so naturally I blurted out: "Sorry, but do you happen to watch Doctor Who?" He didn't ...

I've been crocheting a lot on the train lately. I get many curious looks, but most people are just to shy to ask away. New projects coming up soon!

I got the image converted and printed for my research project. I had to scale it down to a 16 x 20 canvas but it was probably for the best because I need to finish before the first week of August, lol.

Now I need to figure out the easiest way to transfer it to canvas so I can begin painting. I really don't want to have to trace everything!

Otherwise... pinkleo, am I allowed to drop my research project for a non-crochet one?
Yes.  You can drop/change your Research Project.

Hopefully, I won't have to, but it's good to know I can, just in case Smiley

Sadly, it turns out that I've been living with a broken wrist (the bone just below the thumb) for 2 weeks. I got a cast today, but I can't crochet or lift anything for at least a month. I can't even grip anything because I can't bend my thumb. So, I'm thinking up of a new research project, and re-thinking some of the projects I had planned.

My summer of the 4 C's (Crafting,Cleaning,Canning,Chillin') has been pretty much decimated. I've been doing a bit of chillin', but I'm already bored. I'm trying to figure out if I can make black raspberry jam using one hand... I've got raspberries ripening in the back yard.

Thanks, Ludi! I'm glad I had been keeping it wrapped or in a thumb/wrist brace for most of the time, but the cast forces me (and reminds me in a bright green way) to be extra careful Smiley
