** whine alert **

I'm spending too much time on my research project - between that and one other swap, all my crafting time is used up. I'm not even looking at the challenges until I get this research project finished.

July is going to be tough as I am now a one-handed craftster...yep, not suppose to use my left hand for six weeks...and I am left-handed!! It is in a brace, so whatever I can do with a brace...I can sew but that is about it...I am going to have to let my research project go along with anything like knitting...I can embroider with either hand...yay!

I already know what I am making for the July challenge...I also have some things to post for June but it will have to wait until I can take better pics...

Oh man! Six weeks?!?! Best of luck, always. Hopefully you'll be better than ever when you're healed! Wink

Oh no!  I suppose that will just force you to be even more creative!  Hopefully the time will go quickly for you, and you start feeling better soon.

I was wondering: have any of you also printed off the lists with craft prompts? I carry them with me on the train in my backpack, so that if I have to stop crocheting to give my wrists a break, I can start planning the next craft! I'm really looking forward to July's prompts!

I have a couple lists going, one printed calendar where I've been writing out the prompts so I can look at it when/where ever, and then a spreadsheet on my computer to keep track of my plans and ideas and other related info.  The games are so fun, and I'm actually get stuff done!

Should I wait until my research project is approved to begin? Or is it based on when I posted it?

I'm fairly certain it's from when you post it...at least that's how it was for my previous research project(s)!  Wink

Def. I know in the HPC you don't have to wait for approval. pinkleo doesn't want to hinder creativity by making you wait! Though she might PM you with clarification/modifications if needed.

I'm so sorry, but from what I understood from my doc if left unchecked there'd be icky consequences.  Tongue Isn't the brace so fashionable! Mine is black and bulky and there's no blending it in with an outfit....especially in the summer. We were thinking of giving it a crafty makeover last night at knit nite!

I'm so jealous you're an ambidextrous embroiderer!
It's like your superpower!!!

Thank you LovelyMiss & Abbee! Kiss

When you propose your Research Project, you can start working on it right away.  When I do an update, I'll post the date of posting as your start time.  I do this because I will drive myself crazy and never get any crafty time if I attempted to update daily (I have tried this at HPC and know this is what happens).  But I do check in everyday (unless on vacay...and sometimes even then). Now I try to juggle & schedule my craftalongs, modding, and other online adventures (insert Ravelry HPKCHC mod & Gryffie Quiddy Cap here) with my family, home, and fun. Grin
