The moment where you think: "I'll make this, it fits in exactly with the June Wordy prompt in the nerd-games" and you totally forget you just turned in the June Wordy prompt only three days before! I was going to score a discovery bonus too, because it's my first knit ever on double pointed needles where I used them to knit in the round (before, I just used two and used them as shorter, regular needles)

I just realised I can put it in the 10 years of craftster challenge though, Happy Me!

LOL! I keep forgetting that I've already come up with ideas for some of the prompts so I keep thinking of new ones. Glad you found another way to score some points for it!

when I saw the battle, I got real sad.  I'm not a huge fan of either (but more Wars than Trek).  tonight, I came up with something I can make!!!!!!!!  I bought the parts like...2 years ago and never got around to making anything.  but now's the perfect time!!!  Grin  Grin  Grin
YAY! Grin  I'm glad it worked out!

And note on Battles, for everyone (since we are continuing our fun through the seasons): It is how you perceive or interpret one side.  For example, for this battle your submission doesn't have to be blatantly "Star Wars" or "Star Trek."  It could be something you feel encompasses a theme or character or setting (etc.).  For Star Trek, you could do a Sherlock craft that represents the logic of Spock, or for Star Wars, you could make a terrarium to represent Dagobah.  Make sure to use your description to expalin what you are representing. (I have vast knowledge of the Nerdyverse, but I could always use a little help.)

lol.  yeah, but I'm not real creative in that sense.  Roll Eyes  so while that explanation may help others who are unsure, I'm sticking to my blatant Star Wars project.  Grin Grin

Haha, kk, I know exactly what you mean. I'm not a huge fan of either but it's just pure luck that I'm doing a swap for one of them, lol

really?!  lol.  that's cool.  Smiley

and I kinda take that back; I'm much more of a fan of Wars than Trek.  much, much more.  I wouldn't buy a Lego version of Star Trek, but I couldn't wait to own every Lego Star Wars (Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Harry Potter, and I still need to get Lego Lord of the Rings) game.  Grin  and that's really where my project inspiration comes from...it'll be made with some Lego pieces...  Grin  Grin  Grin  oh, and a Lego Space Balls would be some serious fun.  Cheesy

yeah, the newer ones were pretty meh.  and lots of my friends rave about the new Star Trek movies, but the only thing that's really appealing to me is Chris Pine.  Cheesy  Space Balls rules!!!!!!!!!!  I can't believe I don't own it though!  I only have Robin Hood: Men in Tights, as far as Brooks' parody movies go.

Heads up everyone...I'm unsticking this topic.  Not only because we don't need two, but also so we can focus on some new exciting craftalong news. Grin

Hello lovelies. Glad to be back after a month away organizing things. I've been lurking on the web but avoiding Craftster because seeing projects here makes me want to craft instead of organize.

I'm about halfway done with my August Battle project.  I have ideas for a couple of August Challenges, but probably won't be able to do more than that for this final month.  Too many other non-Craftster projects!   Tongue
