I think a google spreadsheet would probably be more practical, but it's the same idea. I definitely hear you on the time-constraints, pinkleo. Don't feel guilty about not being able to do the other semesters, we're incredibly privileged to have gotten tese summer games already! Thank you so much for doing these.

I'd like to jump in all enthusiastically and help along for the next games, but since I might start studying again (I'm thinking of switching carreers and becoming a teacher!) I don't think I would be able to fit that in either.

Or if y'all were interested, I could do a simpler nerdyalong by just doing monthly Battle Royales...maybe a few challenges, but not as epic.

INTERESTED!!!   Grin Grin Grin Grin

I wouldn't mind HELPING to keep the nerdy goodness flowing, but I know that I have time constraints and inexperience working against me.  Perhaps if there were several of us helping to keep track....?  We could use an Excel spreadsheet in Dropbox that all the nerdy hosts have access to, to make sure that we don't miss anything...

Just a thought.   Huh

I think a scaled down version would be great!  Fall and winter are busy...plus it will keep the full-on Summer Games special.  If it's a simpler version (like maybe a Battle Royale and one or two challenges each month), I am definitely willing to host or help with whatever!  I really appreciate how productive this craftalong has kept me lately.  Cheesy

I so appreciate all you've done with the Games, pinkleo!   Kiss  A scaled-down version would be great, but don't let us guilt you into it, you've done so much already!

awwww... y'all are so sweet! Kiss

I think I can definitely do a scaled down version for Fall, Winter, & Spring, and Summer can be for the epic Summer Nerd Games.  Perhaps Fall-Spring, we can gather more trackers or find ways to tweak (I always feel guilty not updating more....perhaps team captains can score keep....I'll definitely be pondering ideas!)

So I'm happy to report that September-November I will host the Fall Nerd Battles. Cool  It will be battles & a few challenges with Research Projects (to encourage us to tackle those large projects).  Plus a monthly WIP battle (I think we all need help with completing those WIPs and destashing).  More dets to come later. Grin

Okay, off to proof and post August prompts. Cool

I do think these challenges really help many of us focus and get projects we have had on our minds come together!  I have enjoyed seeing so many great projects, getting ideas, and making stuff that is fun!  I love what a motivator you are, pinkleo!  Also, all of the helpers have been...well, helpful! Grin

A scaled down version would be wonderful since I also get super busy in the fall and winter as an accountant...summer is my only "slack" time!

I didn't mean to make you feel guilty pinkleo!  I'll add my "I'll help" in there too.  I know I haven't entered much but I still really enjoy the nerd games!

pinkleo, you are amazing! Being a teacher plus a mom with 2 busy kids plus crafting... when will you sleep? Smiley I know my upcoming teaching year is already loaded (I have to take a 24 hour class {3 hours on Tuesday nights for 8 weeks starting in October} to satisfy the new requirements for teaching ELLs... plus continue my duties as a STEM Lead Teacher, my new "job" this summer), and I don't even have kids to make things crazier!

I'd love to help, but know I won't be able to. However, I am so happy that you've decided to run a mini-version. It's helping me whittle my to-try craft pile, and craft for myself for a change Smiley
