That wreath was so much fun to make.  Okay, the story that goes with it is this.  My daughter has always been a rule follower, just a real "good girl".  I can honestly say that I can't ever remember having to even reprimand her, much less actually punish her.  Well, in high school she decided to try out being a wild child for a change.  She got a joint from a friend at school and brought it home with the intention of getting nice and high that night after her dad and I went to bed.  Well; sometime around midnight she shows up at my bedside crying her eyes out and holding out the joint.  She said, "Here, take this thing and flush it down the toilet before I go to jail!".  We had to work so hard not to laugh, it was just too cute.

A few years later my husband and I were at a flea market and we found this big cotton picking sack, only it said "Homegrown Marajuana" on it (did I mispell that?).  Anyway, being who we are we couldn't resist buying it for our daughter.  We presented it to her and told her since she was such a big pothead we figured she would need to grow her own.  Enough time had passed so she found it funny enough to hang the bag on her wall for a few years.  That bag is now the pretty and sweet burlap rosette wreath hanging in glasskicker's home!  It's my favorite upcycle yet!

Gamemom42, that is THE best back story to a beautiful wreath.

That wreath is so pretty!

GlassKicker sent me the coolest necklace and bracelet.

She stamped "Cowgirl Up" on a necklace for me and as an added bonus, made me a wonderful bracelet that says, " cowgirl at <3"

Thank you soooo much! I love both of them and can't wait to wear them to the next rodeo. (sorry for the crappy pictures, I took them with my phone-I will try to get action shots tonight)

Those are terrific!

I also loved the backstory on the wreath! Cheesy

The three girl hoops are fabulous!  I especially love the one that looks like kittykill... Cheesy

Have I ever mentioned how much I love this swap!!!  I'm always in awe of what others can make!  I don't think I have ever seen something posted on here that I haven't liked.

Hoping to find some time in the next couple days to get my last claim done for April....then off to May it is!

We sure do have osme talented C-sters in this swap, have I mentioned that yet? Or lately?
Have I told, you lately, that I love you? Ha ha!

Those jewelry pieces from Glasskicker are very well done. Not my personal style, but still fabulous. Does that make sense? Because it's supposed to a compliment to both ladies, Kittykill and Glasskicker.

And Wow! Look at that heart! People who can do that kind of art amaze me. I think I've seen something very similar to that on the forums before. Was it you that made that one, too, Amanda?
