Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster here. Since I can't upload photos directly into my posts yet, click below to see my completed "Precious" pattern, which I got from etsy.

And a close-up of the stitches:

This took a couple of weeks, but then I only get to craft about two hours a day. The frame is one I got at a storage space resale store, and it's awesome. I bought a bunch of frames for just $1 each, and some of them are antique or never used. SQUEE!

I've never framed cross-stitch under glass before, but could NOT resist this pattern. Silence of the Lambs is one of my favorites, and it's just alternative enough to tickle my fancy for making people look twice.

C&C are very welcome!

Thanks for looking!   Grin

I bought the pattern here:

This is great! I LOVE Silence of the Lambs

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

I love how it looks!  You did a great job.  That frame is just perfect, dark and sort of eerie - like something an actual preserved moth would be framed with.  Cheesy

Dr. Lector is one of my favorite characters.  Creepy movie!  Great project choice.  Thanks for the link to the pattern too.  Now I really want to make one!

Looking to de-stash cross stitch magazines, particularly Cross Stitch Gold or New Stitches?  Please drop me a line!  I'd love to swap or buy some missing from my library!

You're very welcome! That etsy store has some awesome patterns. (It's not me, so I'm not tooting my own horn!  Roll Eyes ) I've got about 10 pages of favorites on etsy of patterns that I simply MUST DO!
