Hi! I'm new to craftster.  But certainly not new to cross stitch.

Here's a project I finished recently.

I dont see very many video game stitches involving backstitching and/or beading, so I wanted to give it a try by making a pattern based off of my live  of video games, but more in the style of 'professional' cross stitch patterns.

This is based off the Super Smash Brothers official artwork, rather than basing it off sprites like most of my stitches so far. I designed the pattern myself.
It took me about 27 hours of stitching to complete, and was stitched over one on 28 count fabric, using tent stitches.

Here's a close up for details.

And the full view

Let me know what you think! Smiley

Ooh, this is so pretty!  I love your attention to detail, and the beading elements give it just the right pop.  Awesome!

She is lovely.  I particularly like the pattern on her skirt and the front panel.
One question - can you explain biscuiting?  I never heard of it before - except in connection with water sports.

Looking to de-stash cross stitch magazines, particularly Cross Stitch Gold or New Stitches?  Please drop me a line!  I'd love to swap or buy some missing from my library!
