I'm so happy that you like the things I made for you.  The ribbon dancers are indeed on clear plastic shower rings.  I used really good glue and glued them where they snap and every single piece of ribbon (170?) is sewn on with clear fishing line so that they can take lots of music and movement without you having to keep re-looping them.

I'll be honest, I didn't think the sponge blocks would work for building.  I loved the idea but I just didn't think they would be functional unless they were cut perfectly.  Well, I played with them with my 26 year old daughter for quite a while and they work great!  I've already made my own set.

Here is one of the ribbon dancers:

I received my Pinterest Surprise from jo_mama today! She sent me two airbrushed shirts for my daughter! They are adorrrabblle! One has Plex from Yo Gabba Gabba, and the other has Emmalynn's name across the front. Of course, she was stoked, and had to model her Plex shirt... Gingerknitter's "red riding" hood made another appearance as well, as Emma wore it to Grandma's house(hahaha, irony...), where I had to pick up jo_mama's package. =)

Thanks so much, Jo! They are perfect!

Wow...I JUST CANNOT BELIEVE YOU SEWED THEM ALL ON WITH FISHING LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Thank you so very much, b/c you are right...the children WOULD have found a way to untie them!  Roll Eyes

And to make sure the sponge blocks worked...you saved my students from disappointment, which is a big thing.

You've put a smile on my face for the second time today.  Kiss

jo_mama made me some stunning wall art  Smiley

Red Riding Hood surrounded by wolf teeth and tree branches (jo_mama if you have a better picture please post it, this was the best I could get)

And it's painted onto a piece of a real tree, complete with bark!

I am going to use the rings as part of movement exercises with my preschool students...dance with them to music, or even work on concepts-shake your ring to your right, put the ring on top of your head, etc...

Just some ideas.

Groovy!  I think my kindergartens would like them!

Thanks!  Yeah, the ribbons are great for spatial concepts as well as following directions.  And of course they are perfect for just getting the wiggles out.

That red riding hood painting is phenomenal!  Seriously; I just love it, and how clever to paint it on the wood with the bark on like that.

Those t-shirts are great!  I think my 25 year old would gladly wear the Plex one.  Cheesy
