Hi all!
I'm currently transforming my home office into a more seashore/serene place to work. I just got back from Florida and had some lovely ocean finds to display in my office. I purchased several different shadow boxes (from both Michaels and JoAnn Fabrics). I didn't like the backgrounds they came with, either black felt or just paper, so I used a burlap scrapbook page to cover the backing and make it a bit more nautical. All that is needed for the project is burlap, shadowboxes, your items to display, and hot glue!

A picture of a few of the final products can be found here:

The entire tutorial can be found here: http://ashleyfitz.wordpress.com/2013/03/31/on-display-on-display-on-display-shadowboxes-for-the-office/

Enjoy!

The combo of burlap and shells gives a very organic feel.
