@Smmart

Umm... I don't know, maybe I didn't understand it well, but I thought each one had to make 2 cards for each of their partners and that each card had to have 1 prompt. The prompt on one side and something inspirational related to the prompt on the other.

Sorry I don't have the answer to your question, but I'm just checking in! Sorry I was incommunicado this weekend, I was asked to present at a conference for work this past weekend. It was awesome and nerve-wracking! Just got home yesterday. Whew!

Take a look at the gallery for the first round.

Yes, write a prompt like "Draw your breakfast" and then on the other side, make a sketch of your cup of coffee or your yogurt. Or, as I did last time around, the prompt was "Spray a stencil with spray ink/watercolor" and that side had the design of a stencil, and the other side prompted "Flip the stencil over for the negative print" and that side had the negative print. The two sides should relate to each other.

Ah ok. I misunderstood the paragraph that said about decorating sides. I did see the gallery from the previous round and was wondering why the setup was different lol. Too many early mornings at work and late nights crafting. I'll eventually get caught up on my sleep.

Just to clarify this for my poor head, it is only 2 cards total, but a prompt and design on each card, correct? So sorry for the confusion.

Yes, two cards with a prompt and design. You can see that I didn't get it exactly in the first round.

Questions are good-keep asking.

After several coats of paint on playing cards, I'm about ready to admit craft failure and just move on to blank ATC. All that nice, clean space without the King of Spades glaring at you from underneath four coats of blue paint....  Wink

There's collage, too, which is how I cover the logos and other stuff.

@pollyprissypants

Did you try sanding your cards before painting them? I haven't tried that technique yet myself but I saw a youtube video with it.

I am so excited about this, but feel behind the eight ball.  I need to get cards!  I do have some ideas . . .
