Details of swap:
Make a set of two cards (altered playing cards or ATC-sized, 2.5" by 3.5") for each of your partners with a journalling prompt on one side and a completed prompt on the other side. These cards can be for art journals or junk journals or writers' journals. We will be in groups of four (or three, depending on the amount of folks who sign up) and you can sign up for two groups. You can make the cards all the same or different for each partner. (I will split the groups as best I can - again it depends on the amount of people swapping.)
However, remember, that you are decorating/altering BOTH sides of the playing cards so that is 4 sides per partner. If you are in two groups of four people, that's 2 x 8 x 2 = 32 sides. You do not have to include your name and date on the cards, like you do with ATCs.

Here is the link to the first swap gallery: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=419093.0#axzz2P9XMZjflPlease do not punch holes in the cards - leave them intact.
The receiver may want to keep them in a box rather than on a ring. The cards should be fairly flat - so flat embellishments okay (ribbons, small buttons, brads or lace) but please try to avoid fat embellishments - big buttons, charms or other bulky items.
Please communicate with your partners about sending extras - they are so nice to receive but not everyone can afford the extra postage. Communication is key to a great swap - please post in this discussion thread weekly and check out the gallery when it opens. You can begin prepping your cards but you may want to wait for your partners' questionnaires before completing the cards.
